Dr. Ifada Wulandari is a medical doctor, healthcare management professional, and environmental sustainability expert specializing in medical and hazardous waste management, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), healthcare sustainability, environmental compliance, and integrated project management. She serves as Project Director at the Center of Waste Management Indonesia (CWMI), where she leads multidisciplinary projects while providing strategic expertise in medical waste management, hazardous waste systems, HSE compliance, and sustainable infrastructure development.

With more than a decade of professional experience, Dr. Wulandari has worked at the intersection of public health, environmental protection, and sustainable waste management. Her expertise focuses on integrating healthcare waste management systems with environmental safeguards, occupational health and safety standards, and national regulatory frameworks to protect both human health and the environment.

She earned her Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Sriwijaya University and completed her Master of Hospital Management (MMRS) at Universitas Pasundan, strengthening her expertise in healthcare systems, hospital governance, strategic health management, and organizational leadership.

Since joining CWMI in 2015, Dr. Wulandari has played a key leadership role in managing multidisciplinary waste management projects across Indonesia. As Project Director, she oversees project planning, implementation, stakeholder coordination, monitoring and evaluation, financial accountability, and project governance, ensuring that every initiative is delivered efficiently while meeting technical, environmental, and regulatory standards.

In parallel, she serves as Medical Waste Management & HSE Expert, providing technical leadership in healthcare waste management, hazardous waste treatment, environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, and risk assessment. She has contributed extensively to feasibility studies, treatment system planning, HSE strategies, and regulatory compliance for healthcare facilities, industrial sectors, and municipal waste management projects.

Her expertise extends beyond technical assessments to include project governance, stakeholder engagement, technical documentation, monitoring and evaluation, and collaboration with government agencies, healthcare institutions, and development partners. Through her multidisciplinary approach, she ensures that engineering solutions not only achieve environmental objectives but also uphold the highest standards of public health and workplace safety.

In addition to her role at CWMI, Dr. Wulandari is the Vice Chairwoman and Co-Founder of Aljazari Foundation, where she leads community-based sustainability initiatives focused on STEM education, environmental awareness, healthcare outreach, circular economy, and community empowerment. She also oversees organizational governance, financial management, strategic partnerships, and institutional development.

Throughout her career, Dr. Wulandari has consistently advocated for integrating Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) principles into environmental engineering and waste management projects. She believes that sustainable infrastructure development must prioritize public health, worker safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance as essential components of long-term sustainability.

As Project Director at CWMI, she continues to strengthen the organization's capacity in delivering science-based, environmentally responsible, and socially impactful projects that support Indonesia's transition toward a circular economy and sustainable development.
